Thanks Be To God!

Gratitude stands at the heart of worship. God gives us life with all of its blessings and we give thanks each and every day. Such thanks are expressed for the many gifts that life brings our way. The changing of the seasons leads us through a variety of experience. Each season holding a blessing of grace for our lives. That grace inspires and encourages us all along our way. It is like medicine for our dark times. So I encourage you to be grateful for your live. Then share that life with others met along your way. In this God enters our world and truly makes a difference.

Psalm 130:1-6 - Out of the depths I cry to you, O LORD. Lord, hear my voice! Let your ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications! If you, O LORD, should mark iniquities, Lord, who could stand? But there is forgiveness with you, so that you may be revered. I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in his word I hope; my soul waits for the Lord more than those who watch for the morning.

Lamentations 3:22-26 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases, his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. "The LORD is my portion," says my soul, "therefore I will hope in him." The LORD is good to those who wait for him, to the soul that seeks him. It is good that one should wait quietly for the salvation of the LORD.

Mark 5:25-29 - Now there was a woman who had been suffering from hemorrhages for twelve years. She had endured much under many physicians, and had spent all that she had; and she was no better, but rather grew worse. She had heard about Jesus, and came up behind him in the crowd and touched his cloak, for she said, "If I but touch his clothes, I will be made well." Immediately her hemorrhage stopped; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her disease.
