One Life Is In Us All

Another sunny day in Winnipeg. It is very nice to see all our trees turning gold. Not quite as nice raking up all the falling leaves. Guess that is how Autumn leads us towards winter.

A good morning at the Big Red Church. A fair number of people were gathered for our worship service. The service is not very long but it does have some interesting features. This includes the band's music and my talking. After the service folks chatted with one another. All while wearing masks and being mindful of social distancing.

Here is the video:

Here are the texts for your consideration:

Psalm 133 - How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! It is like the precious oil on the head, running down upon the beard, on the beard of Aaron, running down over the collar of his robes. It is like the dew of Hermon, which falls on the mountains of Zion. For there the Lord ordained his blessing, life forevermore.

1 Corinthians 13:1-6 - If I speak in the tongues of mortals and of angels, but do not have love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give away all my possessions, and if I hand over my body so that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient; love is kind; love is not envious or boastful or arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice in wrongdoing, but rejoices in the truth.

John 14:1-6 - “Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In God’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also. And you know the way to the place where I am going.” Thomas said to him, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the living God except through me.
