Curious George
Inside Shapes Outside
Many of us are uncertain concerning the future we face. By faith we may move forward confidently. God, who dwells within us, is adequate to overcome any challenge that may come. Trusting God we are made able to live our lives confidently. We are also made able to be helpful to others who are searching for a way forward in hope. This gives rise to gratitude. That gratitude is a celebration of God's inner presence. A presence which leads us forward one step at a time.
We are going to take a break for the month of August. Hopefully, in September we will be able to meet as persons in the Big Red Church. That will bring peace and joy to many of us. Until then, we wish you each will find your way forward confidently.
Here is our video for this week:
The texts which inform our video service:
Psalm 145:13-18 - Your kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and your dominion endures throughout all generations. The LORD is faithful in all his words, and gracious in all his deeds. The LORD upholds all who are falling, and raises up all who are bowed down. The eyes of all look to you, and you give them their food in due season. You open your hand, satisfying the desire of every living thing. The LORD is just in all his ways, and kind in all his doings. The LORD is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.
Ephesians 3:16-19 - I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit, and that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith, as you are being rooted and grounded in love. I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
John 6:16-21 - When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were terrified. But he said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." Then they wanted to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat reached the land toward which they were going.
